What’s coming in Ubuntu 8.10?

There are only two months left for the new Ubuntu release to appear. I’ve decided to check out what is it that the Ubuntu developers have been preparing for us. Yet again, there are no huge, revolutionary changes, but some of them are really interesting. I’ve decided to write a few words about them.
You can track information about upcoming changes on Launchpad and Ubuntu.com web-site. The second one gives only a little bit of information — just about planned software updates. So, Alpha 4 has a new version of X.org server and Linux kernel. There is also a new Network Manager.
