Hamachi GUI For Linux `Haguichi` 1.0.18 Released

Haguichi is a GUI for the Hamachi Linux client which features fully customizable commands, network list, notifications and an optional Ubuntu AppIndicator.For those not familiar with Hamachi, this is a VPN tool that’s useful for establishing direct links between computers that are behind firewalls. Basically, Hamachi creates a connection over the Internet that emulates a local area network. It can be used for online gaming, remote desktop access, file sharing, etc.Haguichi 1.0.18, which has been released a couple of days ago, introduces the following changes:Implemented a workaround for addresses being cut off in “hamachi list” command since LogMeIn started using the 25/8 address space. This workaround only works for online members.The IPv6 address of a member is now ignored when an alias is set, because in that case the IPv6 address doesn’t work.The network list now immediately reflects network ownership once determined.Improved retrieval of long nicknames.Now using a slightly faster method to check the internet connection.Other minor fixes, improvements and optimizations.Install Haguichi in UbuntuFirstly, download and install Hamachi for Linux.
