Fedora 19 Go for July 2 Release

Since the June 25 release candidate a couple more internal releases have been tested. Several major bugs have been squashed and while some issues remain, there are none blocking final release. At last night’s Go/No-Go meeting, it was decided to release July 2. Jaroslav Reznik, who co-chaired the meeting, said on Fedora devel mailing list late last night: At the Fedora 19 Final Go/No-Go Meeting that just occurred, it was agreed to Go with the Fedora 19 by Fedora QA, development, release engineering and FPM.   Fedora 19 will be publicly available on Tuesday, July 02, 2013. Thank you everyone for heroic effort on this release! I guess this means no public release candidate. The July 2 final release is expected to feature the latest popular desktops KDE 4.10.3 and GNOME 3.8.3. BIND will be updated to BIND10, GCC 4.8 is introduced this release, and new Developers Assistant will help new contributors get set up.
