Maryan Linux is a distribution based on Ubuntu.
It aims to be the fastest and functional Enlightenment 17 distribution.
The developers of Maryan Linux have chosen Enlightenment 17 as the default desktop environment (DE), which is a lightweight and very visually appealing desktop environment.
Maryan Linux is a Linux-based distribution that is different to many other distributions already offered. Maryan Linux provides four desktop environments (Including Enlightenment 17) that have been configured. These are configured so that the user can choose the desktop environment that suits the user and the user’s PC.
LXDE, Fluxbox and Pekwm are the secondary desktop environments that are provided beside Enlightenment 17. These three desktop environments are all very fast and lightweight and don’t require high resources. Any of these desktop environments can be set as the default desktop environment after installation.
It is recommended that the user tries all the desktop environment provided in Maryan Linux to see if one of the desktop environments suit the user more than your current one set as default (Enlightenment 17).
Linux has the philosophy of freedom. The user decides the user’s wants unlike other OS’s. The Maryan Linux project isn’t forcing the user to use Enlightenment 17.
